Weekly classes, community meetings and local events

Our community Hall offers a warm atmosphere, enhanced facilities, including a new kitchen, audio visual equipment, accessible toilets and a loop sound system. 

We have a serious commitment to support local gatherings and local people. 

Regular Activities 

The Hall offers an enviable list of regular activities for all ages and all levels of physical fitness.

Yogalates

Chair Yoga – A gentle session for post-operative recovery and maintaining mobility. 
When: Mondays
Time: 10.45 am – 12 noon
Price: Drop-in Price £10 per session.
Instructor: Ness Bourne

 

Flow Yoga – An active session followed by guided relaxation. Individual needs are catered for.

When: Mondays
Time: 12.30 – 1.30 pm
Price: £90 for 9 sessions or £12 for a drop in workout.
Instructor: Becky England

Evening Yoga – A session designed for those with busy lives who want to reset and recharge. Personal support is offered.

When: Tuesdays

Time: 6.30 – 7.30 pm

Drop-in Price:  £10 per session. 

Instructor: Ness Bourne.

Yogalates – A combination of yoga and pilates moves.

When: Thursday

Time: 6 – 7pm

Price:  £90 for 9 sessions or £12 per drop in workout.

Quilting – A friendly private group supporting each other in quilt making.

When: Last Monday of every month
Time: 7.30pm
Price: £2 pp

Dance Club – Led by local enthusiasts who will not judge you! You can learn to dance a tango, improve your mobility and have fun.

When: 2nd Monday in each month

Time: 7-8 pm

West Hatch Produce Competition for gardeners, cooks and creative makers at 3 pm with tea and scones.

£5 per cream tea – entries are 50 pence per item .  Entries to be dropped at the Hall at 11 am.

Introducing Willow Work

Make your very own choice of willow work to create from a selection on offer.

When: Saturday 19th September
Time: 10 am -12 pm.

Gardeners Question Time

Community Meetings 

The Village Hall is more than a venue – it is also where important conversations take place. These meetings help shape the future of West Hatch and keep our community connected and informed.

Village Hall Committee Meetings

Quarterly

Our Trustees meet quarterly to oversee the running of the Hall, review activities and plan future events. The committee is made up of local volunteers who give their time to ensure the Hall remains welcoming, well maintained and financially sustainable.

Residents are warmly encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting and take part in decisions about the Hall’s future.

When: First or third Monday of the Month
Time: 7.30 pm onwards

Parish Council Meetings

Quarterly

West Hatch Parish Council meetings are held at the Village Hall and are open to all members of the community. These sessions provide updates on local matters and give residents the opportunity to raise questions or share views.

Your voice matters – attending is one of the simplest ways to stay informed and involved.

When: Wednesdays
Open to all residents

Civic Events

Alongside our regular activities, the Village Hall hosts important annual gatherings that bring residents together.

Annual Parish Meeting

This yearly meeting offers an opportunity to reflect on village matters, hear updates from the Parish Council, and discuss priorities for the year ahead.

It is open to all residents and plays an important role in maintaining an engaged and active community.
